Dr. Kevin McCabe

Biology Instructor



Dr. McCabe is an adjunct member of the Biology Faculty at Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) starting in 2012.

Dr. McCabe comes to CGCC from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was a research associate in both the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering and the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Dr. McCabe also remains a member of the CU Boulder CEAE Graduate Faculty.

While at CU Boulder, Dr. McCabe carried out interdisciplinary projects, working with colleagues within his departments, as well as across the Departments of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Computer Engineering at CU, as well as with the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the US Food and Drug Administration, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and numerous business partners locally and nationally, externally.

In addition to his research, Dr. McCabe also taught Applied Environmental Microbiology and Freshman Engineering Projects courses for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. With this broad array of research and teaching background, Dr. McCabe brings a diverse body of experience in biology and engineering to the students of CGCC.
