Step 1 – Access your Program Planner
Go to the myCGCC (Student Online Services) button and follow the instructions to log in. Your Program Planner is a selection on the Student Resources menu. Review the courses that you and your advisor have planned for you to take and insure that you are approved to register (your status is in red at the top of the page). If your "OK to register" has expired, make an appointment with an advisor well before registration begins. Together you will plan your courses and you will receive the "OK to register" for up to one year. Call Student Services at 541-506-6011 or 541-308-8211 to schedule an appointment or come in during the drop-in advising times listed below.
Step 2 - Register for Classes and Pay Tuition
Check the Registration Priority Schedule below to see when you can register. Go to the myCGCC (Student Online Services) button and follow the instructions. If you do not have internet access, you may use the computers at The Dalles Campus or the Hood River-Indian Creek Campus. Tuition and fees must be paid in full or by installment by the deadline. See the Financial Matters area for more information.
Registration Priority Schedule
Registration priority is based on the number of credits successfully completed at CGCC. It does not include courses attempted or graded "F", "W", "I", "AUD", or "NP" or classes currently in progress. Students may also register on any scheduled registration day or time after their priority day up to the first day of the term.

Step 5 - Attend Class/Create a Moodle account
TRADITIONAL OR HYBRID COURSES: Students registered in a traditional or hybird course are expected to attend all class meetings of their courses, beginning with the first class. Please review the attendance policy on page 28 of the class schedule for more information.
ONLINE COURSES: Students registered in an online class must create a Moodle account before the first day of the term to access online courses. See page 8 of the class schedule for more information.
Students are expected to attend all classes in which they are enrolled. Unless you have made prior arrangements with your instructor, you may be dropped from the class roster if you do not attend the first class session. However, you are responsible for formally dropping your class even if you don't attend. If you fail to drop during the refund period, you will be responsible for the charges. If you have excessive absences and fail to drop or withdraw from class by the deadlines, a grade of F may be assigned at the end of the term. Any changes to your registration must be done through myCGCC (Student Online Services).
If you have questions or need help with this process, contact Student Services at 541-506-6011 in The Dalles or 541-308-8211 in Hood River.
