Mission Statement :

The CGCC Institutional Assessment Committee fosters the integration of assessment, planning, and research in order to encourage the continuous improvement of academic programs, academic and student support services, and administrative services at CGCC.

Goals:
Provide guidance and support to all college departments in the development and integration of assessment activities.
Build capacity for assessment and continual, data-driven improvement.
*Provide institutional data and findings from research and assessment to support institutional planning processes and decision-making.

Dear CGCC Constituent,

Welcome to the home page of the Institutional Assessment Committee. This is a dynamic section that will be changing as assessment activities are changed, data compiled and analyzed, and reports produced.

Students are at the heart of the CGCC mission statement, briefly stated as "building dreams... transforming lives". Reliable data are the key to building a foundation for informed decision making that will ensure that we are meeting the college's mission statement and that there is constant improvement in the services and programs that are provided.

This information should give you, the community member, a sense of who our students are, what success they are achieving, and how CGCC is making a difference in their lives.
