Financial Aid in the Bookstore

Eligible students may use their financial aid to pay for books and supplies in the bookstore; we call it "Charging on your student account".

Please refer to the course schedule for specific dates of availability for financial aid.

What do I need to do before I can charge in the bookstore?

Students with credit balances from financial aid awards or third party authorizations for bookstore charges will have credit available in the bookstore in their student account. For Summer Term, financial aid awards will be posted June 20th at 1pm

For students with third party authorizations, please contact the Business Office Cashier to have your approved authorization added to your account before shopping in the Bookstore.

What can I charge to my student account?

Generally, students may charge required textbooks and supplies to third parties or financial awards depending on the requirements of the funding source. If you are unsure what you can charge, please contact your funding source or the Financial Aid Office.
