Eileen has 34 years of hospital-based nursing experience, with 33 years at Mid-Columbia Medical Center (MCMC). She has 8 years of working in OB, 26 years working in the operating room, primarily as circulating nurse, and some scrubbing experience as well. She is a member of AORN (American Operating Room Nurses' Association), has obtained AORN's national certification: CNOR (certified nurse in the operating room) This is her first classroom teaching experience but has worked as a Preceptor for many students and a mentor for many new employees in the operating room setting. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, bike riding, playing the piano, reading, and spending time with family.
