This course will acquaint the student with the geology of the Pacific Northwest regions from northern California to southern British Columbia. The student will develop a basic understanding of the past geologic events in the Pacific Northwest. Students will also become familiar with geological  terminology, earth materials, geologic processes, geologic principles, and geologic time. The very interesting topography, surface features, and rock strata in the different regions of the northwest are studied in this course.
