Columbia Gorge Community College offers a career ladder program for women and men who want to become licensed practical nurses or registered nurses.   Please see Student Services for program pre-requisites, proposed program of study, and application and acceptance procedures.

After successfully completing the required credits of the first year of the Nursing program, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. You must earn grades of "C" or better in all required courses. Completion of this level qualifies you to apply to the Oregon State Board of Nursing to take the exam to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
