Richard has been the Theater Instructor at CGCC since 2002, and the Chair of the Art, Theater, and Humanities Department since 2009.  He previously was Lecturer in Drama and Theater General Manager at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and has held management positions at several theaters on the east coast and in the Midwest.  He is on the Board of Directors for the Theatre Company of The Dalles and the Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association, and serves on the performance selection committee for CAST in Hood River, where he also directs and performs in productions.  He is a member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas and the Association for Theater in Higher Education.
