Diagnostic Imaging Technology Program CGCC offers a Diagnostic Imaging program through a partnership with Linn-Benton Community College. The Diagnostic Imaging program utilizes a combination of distance learning and local clinical instruction. Online courses are offered in a virtual classroom environment and clinical education is done at Mid-Columbia Medical Center and Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. This is an 18 month limited entry program beginning in June of each year and prerequisite work must be completed prior to application. Academic advising is strongly encouraged for students interested in this program. The requirements of this program are subject to change. Program Overview: Program Format: Classes are tailored specifically to the students in the training. Students attend class for approximately 40 hours a week. It does not follow the traditional college terms. The majority of classes will be taught via web based technology from LBCC. Students should expect to attend class from their homes; although lab experiences will take place at the local healthcare facilities and/or the Lebanon lab. Students should expect to make a minimum of 7 trips to the LBCC campus during the course of the program. Once enrolled in the Diagnostic Imaging program, students are LBCC students and are supported by LBCC.
